1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a merchant account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of Global Scholapay services.
2. Payment Processing
Global Scholapay processes payments on your behalf in accordance with the regulations of the jurisdictions in which we operate. Settlement times, fees, and supported instruments are disclosed in your merchant dashboard.
3. Data Privacy & Security
We are PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. Cardholder data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We will never sell your data. You retain ownership of all merchant and customer information.
4. Merchant Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of business information, compliance with applicable laws (including KYC/AML), and the resolution of customer disputes related to goods or services you provide.
5. Prohibited Activities
Merchants may not use Global Scholapay for unlawful activity, including but not limited to: fraud, money laundering, sale of controlled substances, or processing payments on behalf of unregistered third parties.
6. Dispute Resolution
Chargebacks and disputes are governed by the rules of the relevant card network. Global Scholapay will assist with evidence collection and representment where possible.
7. Limitation of Liability
Global Scholapay's liability is limited to the fees paid by the merchant in the three (3) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Amendments
We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with venue in the courts of Lagos. Local jurisdictions may have additional applicable law.
